Benefits of Working with a Co-Host
Enlisting in a co-host will help to divvy up some of the responsibilities that come along with maintaining an Airbnb property, therefore helping to alleviate stress. A co-host can be a local point of contact if the the host does not live close to the Airbnb property. An extra set of ears/hands/eyes can give the Host an extra level of comfort and peace of mind.
Services:
- New Airbnb Set up (Create new listing, Lockbox set-up, Home Decor and furniture set-up, Cable/Internet set-up, etc.)
- Updates to Listings (price changes, blocking out dates, etc.)
- Communicating with Cleaning Services
- Managing Reservations (accepting/declining, etc.)
- Communicate with guests during their stay
- Communicate with Airbnb for with any issues that may arise
- Assistance with Creating and Maintaining a Welcome Letter/House Rules Policy
- (Pets, Smoking, Visitors, Check In/Check Out Times, etc.)
- Soft Screening of Guests prior to their stay
- Re-stocking of supplies
- Property Checks
Pricing for Services:
Pricing is generally between 10% – 20% of the gross amount of the nightly charge (cleaning fee is not included in nightly amount). There is an initial set up fee for new Airbnb listings. The Host and Co-host will discuss the duties that will be delegated to the Co-Host, and then a fee will be agreed upon.
